Today (22nd June 2023) commemorates the launch of Library Of Sounds. It has taken a lot of work to create, design, and map out what Library of Sounds is going to be, and I know there is more work to do but I am so pleased to share this with the world. Putting a stamp on the launch date of this website marks the date it was published and its age, but also allows me to track the growth of the libraries, audience, and our progress over time.
Even though I have just launched these libraries, I already have new microphones on the way, and plan to get more equipment for field recording such as Cinela wind protection. With this equipment, I will be able to record in harsher environments and capture sound despite any high winds or rainy conditions.
I have a couple of goals we want to set. My first goal is to add a few new sound effect libraries. I will be working on these throughout the next 6 months to a year. I will be recording a lot more ambience libraries to be released within the next 6 months and establishing and posting on my Youtube and Instagram. I am hoping there will be a lot more content to release on these platforms.
Travelling is really important when recording new content and discovering new sounds and locations. I plan to travel a lot in the next year, therefore, recording lots more libraries.
